Silverback Supports Squamish

TAKE ME TO YOUR CAMPAIGN PAGE!

In light of the on-going COVID-19 situation, Silverback Treeworks understands that the community is faced with many limitations and disruptions to the usual way of life. During these unprecedented times, it is essential that we support each other and our community in any way possible. Thanks to our on-going customer communication, we understand that more time at home means we have more time to care for our trees and gardens. As a result, there is growing need for help with debris chipping and removal – this is where we come in!

How can we help?

Following on from our usual tree work services, a thorough clean up and disposal of treatment related debris is always available. Although debris removal is not something we usually offer as a stand-alone service, we understand the current limitations that the community are faced with and we would like to extend a helping hand!

Silverback Treeworks is proud to be the organizers of a COVID-19 safe, donation based debris-collection & wood chipping fundraiser. All proceeds will be donated to the Squamish Food Bank to support local residents during and after the pandemic.

If you’d like to get involved, be placed on the list for donation-based debris-removal and wood chipping and support our local community, please get in touch!

Our current fundrasier will run throughout May, 2020

COVID-19 HEALTH & SAFETY

Silverback Treeworks has been fortunate to stay operational during these times of uncertainty. The nature of our work allows us to actively follow the most conservative guidelines available from leading global and local health authorities, such as:·

Social distancing: All office staff are working remotely; field staff are working in PODS and travelling in separate vehicles to maintain appropriate distance between workers.·

Hygiene: Hygiene is an integral part of our efforts. Thorough sanitizing of hands, tools, vehicles and equipment before and after being on site is essential.·

Communication: We encourage electronic communication (email, telephone, text message) in favour of face to face meeting and greeting.·

Stay Home: If an employee feels unwell or has been exposed to someone who feels unwell, they are encouraged to stay at home.
